Methods of Gender Swaying If You Are Trying For A Boy.

One popular method for ensuring that sperm carrying the Y chromosome reaches the egg is called the ‘Timing Method’. This is simply a way to try and create the ideal environment for the Y chromosome sperm. To achieve this, you should have sex as much as you can pre-ovulaton, stopping all sexual activity 4 days before you ovulate. As soon as you ovulate, you should then have sex. This method is said to increase the chances of the Y chromosome sperm reaching the egg. After ovulating, you should then abstain from sex again.

It is also believed that if you are able to orgasm during intercourse, this will create a more favorable environment for the Y chromosome sperm to latch on. This should ideally be paired with deep penetration methods so that the Y chromosome sperm reaches the egg faster.

The ‘Timing Method’ also works if you are trying to have a girl. However, it should be done a bit differently. In this case, you should have sex every day pre-ovulation, stopping completely at 2 days before ovulation. In addition, it is believed that you should avoid having an orgasm when trying for a girl, as orgasms will change the environment within the cervix, making it harder for X chromosome sperm to latch on.

Another method is to use only shallow penetration techniques, as X chromosome sperm can have a longer lifespan than Y chromosome sperm. This means that there is a better chance of the Y chromosome sperm ‘dying off’ before reaching your eggs if there is a further distance to travel.

Final Thoughts.

It is important to remember that no method of gender swaying is considered to be 100% scientifically proven. While many women can attest to the results of the above mentioned methods, they are not a sure thing. It is also important to remember that if you are going to attempt dietary changes in hopes of improving your chances for a certain gender, to always consult your physician first. Ultimately, the goal is to have a happy and healthy baby no matter what!
